Paul Staehle, an American known for his appearance on the reality show “90 Day Fiancé,” has gone missing in a region of the Amazon. The Amazonas State Police and the Fire Department are actively searching for the tourist, who sent a location message to a friend before losing contact.
Edna Staehle, Paul’s mother, reported to TMZ that her son had been traveling through Brazil since the end of July. However, on August 31st, he sent messages to his family requesting help, stating he was lost in the vast Amazon rainforest.
The disappearance was officially reported on Saturday (2) at the Tourist Crime Specialized Police Station (DECCT) in Manaus. “Investigations have begun to ascertain the circumstances of the incident,” the Amazonas State Police announced.
The Amazonas Fire Department was alerted on Saturday after a friend of Paul received his last known location. The data indicated that the tourist was on a small island in the Rio Negro. Efforts continue in hopes of locating him.
