The much-anticipated posthumous memoir of Lisa Marie Presley, completed with the assistance of her daughter Riley Keough, is set to be published this October by Random House, with Brazilian publisher Rocco confirming publication rights in Brazil. This intimate account, yet untitled, promises a vulnerable and honest look into the life of Lisa Marie, the only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley and an artist in her own right.

“My mother was more than just Elvis’s daughter, and I was fortunate to know that side of her,” Keough shared. The book chronicles Lisa Marie’s life from her childhood at Graceland to her tumultuous relationships and the tragic loss of her son, Benjamin Keough. It serves as a tribute to her personal and professional journey.

Lisa Marie Presley, who passed away nearly a year ago at the age of 54, leaves behind a legacy not just as the heir to Elvis Presley but also as a unique voice in the music industry. The memoir includes accounts of her complicated relationship with her mother, Priscilla, her marriages to celebrities like Michael Jackson and Nicolas Cage, and her experiences as a mother.

Described by Random House as a “raw and riveting memoir,” the narrative is primarily told by Lisa Marie with Keough filling in the gaps with her own memories and those of people close to her mother. The audio edition will be narrated by Keough, featuring excerpts from Lisa Marie’s recorded recollections.
