Disney World is offering a unique opportunity for enthusiasts and investors to own a piece of the magic: fully furnished hotel rooms, originally located at Fort Wilderness, are up for sale for $49,900. These units, built between 1998 and 2001, are being replaced and no longer have a place on Disney property, leading to a partnership with J&J Venture Group for their sale.
Spanning approximately 500 square feet, the cabins feature one bedroom, a full bathroom, and come fully equipped with furniture and appliances, ready to accommodate up to six people. The offer excludes bed linens and artwork.
For those in the Orlando area, delivery of the unit can be arranged by J&J Venture Group. For those living more than 25 miles from Orlando, additional relocation costs will apply.
In contrast, the new Disney Vacation Club units boast a modern and stylish design, with similar sleeping arrangements, but including a Murphy bed in the main living area, along with a full kitchen and bathroom with a shower. The 350 new DVC cabins are expected to open on July 1st.
