O American Music Awards (AMA) anunciou nesta quinta-feira (28) os indicados ao prêmio neste ano. O evento acontece no dia 21 de novembro com transmissão direto do Microsoft Theater, em Los Angeles.
Em sua primeira edição, a cantora pop Olivia Rodrigo, já concorre em sete categorias, com destaque na principal de “Artista do Ano” ao lado de Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, BTS, Drake e The Weeknd. A cantora de apenas 18 anos lidera o ranking de indicações deste ano.
The Weeknd está logo atrás com seis indicações, enquanto Doja Cat, a estrela do reggaeton, Bad Bunny e o cantor de R&B, pela primeira vez, tiveram cinco cada.
